The lake
The lake is the reason the neighborhood is shaped the way it is. Everything else was drawn around it.
Sixty acres of still water
Wide enough to hold a whole sky at sunset and quiet enough that the far bank reflects without a ripple most evenings. The tree line on the west side is unbroken pine, which is what gives the water its color late in the day and why the light here reads warmer than it should for the latitude.
Living on the water
Waterfront lots back directly onto the bank, most of them fenced to the water line, and several carry private pools set so that the pool edge and the lake read as one surface from the house. The pool deck at sunset is the single most photographed thing in the neighborhood, and with reason.
